My ChatON Buddies & Don
A
few weeks ago, a sea of ‘ORANGE’ people was gathered
at The Butter Factory KL to celebrate ChatON friendship and creative expression
by Samsung Malaysia. Of course I am one of those people too!
Upon arrival at The Butter Factory KL, I quickly get myself
registered at
the counter and I was really surprised that a Starbucks truck to park itself right in front of The Butter
Factory giving out free drinks. And guess what?! Each and everyone of us has a name given by the organizer; and I was named ‘Lu Lu’!
Perhaps it’s time for me to get a nickname. :P

In the spirit of friendship and camaraderie, there was an announcement
of a partnership between ChatON and Starbucks which will offer users the
privilege of enjoying special promotions just by adding Startbucks as a Special
Buddy in the ChatON app.
In case you're not familiar with ChatON, it's a cross-platform
mobile messaging application that provides new services such as voice/video
chatting, translation, PostON, Anicon, Animessage and so on, as well as basic
services such as auto buddy registration, chatting, multimedia sharing and etc.
One of the best parts of ChatON is that I can install up to 5 devices by a Samsung account. This will definitely be
an added advantage for those who have multiple
phones.
What’s more?! The ChatON live chat feature on the Galaxy S4 is now supports video chat and screen sharing. This means I can share what’s on my screen with anyone I am talking to using ChatON.
The video and audio chat on the Galaxy S4 is certainly a nice
bonus.
Well,
guest at the launch party were suitably entertained with dance performances,
ChatON related games and the first-ever appearance by Chatty, the official
mascot for the ChatON app.
Ohh! I'd never thought of wearing ‘ORANGE’ like this!
There was a
mini game right after the dance performance, whereby we have to find a buddy
that matches our ChatON character's sticker that has given to everyone upon registration.
The first 3 pairs to get up on stage get will win a Samsung SIII Mini!

The highlight of the day is finally here – Best Dressed Challenge! There were a total
of ten nominees (5 guys & 5 girls) called on stage, all nominees
will be expected to catwalk/ dance. Whoever drew the loudest cheers and get the biggest impact from the crowd will
win a Samsung SIII Mini too! The a atmosphere was so amazing!
