World Ventures launches i1holiday Cinema Ads & Holiday Comparison Website

Movie date with i1holiday

Recently I has been invited to a launch event with a bunch of bloggers at GSC, Pavilion KL. As part of the launch of i1holiday Cinema Ads and Holiday Comparison Website, i1holiday hosted a special screenings of the latest Independence Day: Resurgence, with 30 Kids from an Orphanage. Well, it was a great way to spend time together with the founder Darren Tan for a casual sit-down-talk session.

Everyone got so excited!

i1holiday is an integrated Hotel and Holiday comparison website. It compares hotel rates from across all other hotel booking website to bring you the best deals. The website will continue to evolve in bringing the best deals in Travel and Hotel rates.

It works somewhat like a search engine of sorts, where it pulls search results from various hotel and holiday websites such as Agoda, Booking, Expedia and more. i1holiday then lists the best deals and forwards users to the corresponding website to make their purchases and bookings when they click on the link.

Love Lock In Busan, South Korea

The Love Locks of Paris, had spread to Busan Tower.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a whole lot of Love Locks here. It seems like these are not an uncommon sight across the world these days. I can see thousands of love padlocks hanging along the fences and benches surrounding the Busan Tower. Each with a messages on it, couples’ names and dates. But too bad, I can't read it.. *sad*

Hahah.. I only have this photo of me to lock it here! #S4

Love Locks are a symbol of everlasting love and deep commitment for your partner. If you have your significant other with you, you could bring a padlock or love notes and then attach it to the fence. Otherwise, you can purchase it from the souvenir shop at the Busan Tower.

Cute and lovely padlock in heart shape :)

The Honda Hybrid Family Road Trip 2013 @ Ipoh

Well, just after I returned from my Busan trip, I did a 2 days 1 night road trip up to Ipoh with a group of bloggers. Although have been visiting Ipoh numerous times but this was the first time I travel with Honda Civic Hybrid. I was absolutely blown away by how much fun we had!

Me & the new Honda Civic Hybrid

Me & my travel buddy (Jess)

We started our journey from Subang Jaya early in the morning at 8am. On our way, we stopped at R&R Rawang to opt for a quick breakfast and a cup of coffee instead. I was excited and a bit nervous at the same time because I’m driving a brand new Honda Civic Hybrid car that don't belong to me, but I thoroughly enjoyed driving it.

  Smooth and a satisfying drive

After a long journey we finally reached Tecco Ipoh around 11.10am, just in time to join The Honda Hybrid Family Road Trip 2013. We were greeted friendly by one of the Honda staff and brought us around explaining the Honda line of hybrid cars and how they works.

Awesome Trip In Koh Lipe Island With My Lovely Son

Haloo everyone! I have just come back from an awesome holiday in Koh Lipe Island, Thailand with few of my friends. have also taken my 7-year old son along on this trip and he really enjoyed himself.  My son and I had been so looking forward to this holiday since Jan 2013.

But guess what happened, this is the first time I travelling without my camera! My ‘baby’ goes completely dead all of a sudden. I am so pissed off!  I almost feel handicapped without it!

Out of the blue my phone started to ring and when I looked at my Samsung Galaxy S4.. hmmmm.. I have YOU! As some of you might have known, I was very lucky to have selected as Samsung Mobile Evangelist recently. Of course I am going to share my experience with you guys and I am trying little by little to make myself familiarize with the S4.

My son is super duper excited!

Yahoo! Finally we are here!

My Christmas @ Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is one of Japan's most popular amusement parks. There aren't really any thrill rides, but it has all the movie-themed rides that make it fun! I spent my last Christmas there and its was a fun time. The park was extremely busy especially during the Christmas and New Year's holidays in Japan. You will be surprised that the parks packed with lots of Japanese rather than visitors, they really embrace USJ and have made it the busiest theme park on earth. So better pick your day carefully though.

There are two types of passes available: 1-day Studio Pass (includes admission to all attractions) & 2-days Studio Pass (includes admission to all attractions for 2 conservative days). To avoid waiting in lines at popular attractions, you could always consider purchasing a Universal Express Pass Booklet at the park when you go. But it’s not cheap to buy.

The best ride I had was The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman and I almost queued 2 hours for it but it's really worth it. It is a indoor thrill ride that combines 3-D special effects, live action and state-of-the-art, 12-passenger ride vehicles that put you right into the thick of the action. You’ll need 3-D glasses for this incredible simulated ride as you follow Spider-Man on a fun-filled adventure high above the city. I totally fall in love with Spiderman after the ride.

You can also enjoy variety of exiting theme rides and shows inspired by world famous movies, animations and much much more, such as Terminator 2, Space Fantasy, Shrek's 4-D Adventure, Sesame Street 4-D Move Magic, Back To The Future, Jurassic Park & etc.

USJ has numerous events and parades that occur during the day. In Christmas, there is always a Christmas-themed parade featuring floats based on Hello Kitty, Peanuts, Shrek and Sesame Street, and the dancers are even wearing outfits depicting the Sesame characters' signatures.

I really enjoy visiting the Universal Citywalk especially shopping for those unique and unusual merchandise that I won't see elsewhere. But if you're looking for something made in Japanmake sure you check the labels. Of course "Made in Japan" just got more expensive than "Made in China."

Snoopy Cup O Noodles : Cute?!

Well, this was truly an amazingly fun day of standing in lines and enjoying some fun rides. I am glad that I managed to see four attractions during the 9 hours visits. But I need even more time for shopping! ;P
