as Weixin in China in January 2011 and subsequently rebranded as WeChat in
April 2012, to appeal to the worldwide market by supporting up to 17 languages.
Todate, Tencent has drawn more than 300 million users since introducing the
WhatsApp-like social-network application about two years ago.
With WeChat, you can chat with your friends instantly via
voice messages, texts or images. You can
also create group chats to chat with several friends together wherever you are. All you have to do is just download,
install and use it! The best thing about WeChat is that it works on all major

The event was started off with dance performance by a group
of dancer, followed by opening speech by the emcee, Rudy and also welcomes
speech by Mr. Poshu Yeung (Vice President of Tencent International Business). Local performers Vivian Chua, Henley Hii and Awi Rafael are
also invited for vocal performance to make the night livelier.

Rudy, the emcee initiated 2 gaming session for
us to have fun, whereby participants get a chance to win amazing prizes such as

end of the event. The grand-prize winner
