It’s Zumba Time Again with Watsons – On The Beach!

Hello Zumba lovers! The biggest Zumba event in the country is BACK! This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments you should not miss especially those who have never experienced the Zumba magic before.

Last year, Watsons Move Your Body Zumba was the biggest Zumba event in Malaysia with more than 7,000 participants held in Penang. And this time around, Watsons Move Your Body Zumba will bring a new level of fun and exciting experience with the biggest Zumba beach party together with a glow in the night theme.

The 2016 edition is slated to be held on 22 October 2016 at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach and expecting more participants than last year to sweat it all out with Zumba routines in collaboration with international Zumba organization in the United States, Zumba Fitness.

The thematic Zumba beach party with ‘Glow In The Night’ theme will be an experience like non-other as Hitz FM radio announcers Ean and Arnold will be hyping up the night together with all Zumba participants.

Let’s move! Let the music move your body and soul!

BCL MALAYSIA'S BFF Makeup Party

I’m so glad to have join the BCL (Beauty Creative Lab) BFF Makeup Party last Sunday with my cousin at Damansara Uptown. In fact, my cousin is just like a BFF to me, we met socially almost every weekend since the day she came back to Malaysia for her summer holidays and internship. She was so happy when I invited her to join me for the party.

This is actually the first time I get to know more about BCL range of products. Special thanks to Manoah Consulting, Mandom and BCL Malaysia for inviting us to this party. And we are lucky enough to have Mr Takeru Hiroki, a make-up artist who came all the way from Japan, to demonstrate his bold but delicate technique to help us look our best!

Generally, two makeup theme are demonstrated by Mr Takeru Hiroki; (1) Cool Beauty, which is defined and mature, (2) Japanese Idol, which is soft and supernatural. Always.. The first rule to makeup is to make sure our skin is in tip-top condition.

My ChatON Buddies & Don

A few weeks ago, a sea of ‘ORANGE’ people was gathered at The Butter Factory KL to celebrate ChatON friendship and creative expression by Samsung Malaysia. Of course I am one of those people too!

Upon arrival at The Butter Factory KL, I quickly get myself registered at the counter and I was really surprised that a Starbucks truck to park itself right in front of The Butter Factory giving out free drinks. And guess what?! Each and everyone of us has a name given by the organizer; and I was named ‘Lu Lu’! Perhaps it’s time for me to get a nickname. :P

In the spirit of friendship and camaraderie, there was an announcement of a partnership between ChatON and Starbucks which will offer users the privilege of enjoying special promotions just by adding Startbucks as a Special Buddy in the ChatON app.

In case you're not familiar with ChatON, it's a cross-platform mobile messaging application that provides new services such as voice/video chatting, translation, PostON, Anicon, Animessage and so on, as well as basic services such as auto buddy registration, chatting, multimedia sharing and etc. One of the best parts of ChatON is that I can install up to 5 devices by a Samsung account. This will definitely be an added advantage for those who have multiple phones.

My Son's Classmate, Alissa's Birthday Party

Two weeks ago, my son and other classmates were invited to their classmate, Alissa's birthday party. The party was at the birthday girl’s house near my place. All the kids were so excited and did have lots of fun that day. Honestly, I love attending kids' birthday parties. I always see it as a nice opportunity get to know to get to know the other parents and casual chit-chatting among us.

When the kids arrived, they were at first just playing together nothing in particular. Alissa’s mom planned some simple party food and prepared a few party games for the kids. All the children were so happy and everyone was eying on the prize that was full of candies and goodies.

After the game it was blowing the candles, then we light the candle and we sings "Happy Birthday to you"! All the children were so amazed including mothers.

The cakes are cutely decorated.

OMG! Look... I have not experienced this before. Children start licking the candies before cutting the cake.

No.. No.. No... Where is the "Ladybirds" & M&M candies?

My son always loved taking photographs like I do.

At the end of the party, all the kids were so happy getting full bag of goodies filled with candies, color pencil, toys, and photo frame. My son had so much fun with his classmates.

A Wonderful Day @ Golden Palm Tree Resort

In conjunction with Selangorlicious Foodster Blogging Competition, I was invited by Tourism Selangor to attend the Blog & Roll Food Carnival at Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas & Spa on May 14, 2011. It was my 1^st visit to Sepang Gold Coast after hearing so much about this place. It’s really a good weekend getaway with just an hour drive from Subang Jaya.

I was really impressed when I reach the Golden Palm Tree Resort. It was a luxurious five star eco-friendly resort stand elegantly on stilts on the sea and by the sea that located in Sepang Gold Coast.

Everyone is required to register for the event upon arrival.

I truly enjoyed myself in getting together with friends and meet new people.

Eat, Drink & Enjoy!

The view of sea villas were really nice! I wish I could stay for a night despite the expensive rate offered, taking a break away from the mundane of everyday city life.

The Golden Palm Tree Resort lobby

The villas and clubhouse are separated away from the lobby. We were trying to get into the Golden Palm Tree Resort area, however due to privacy policy, it is not accessible.

There are many shuttle buggies to transport visitors / guest to the villas.

There was a sunset photography competition and I was pretty excited about it. I really enjoyed the superb sunset before proceeding to the Golden Palm Tree Beach Party.

And guess what?! I won the Sunset Photography Competition with the photo taken with my new Olympus E-PL2. Wow! I really enjoyed the event and our night at Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas.
