Review : Lipsmacker Paul Frank Lip Gloss In Julius’ Coconut Cream

I am utterly a Big Fan of Paul Frank Lipsmacker! The packaging is always super adorable and delectable with natural protection for lips. I have this Lipsmacker Paul Frank Lip Gloss In Julius’ Coconut Cream from Yuberactive. This little lip gloss comes in a cute blue/ green and brown tube with a little Julius happily dancing the hula under the Hawaiian sky, making this Paul Frank Julius’ Coconut Cream perfect for summer.

It uses only natural oils such as castor oil, wheat germ oil, sesame seed oil, beeswax, and candelilla wax. I've never tried any Lipsmackers before, but I always wanted to as it seem so affordable.

The tubes of lip gloss are so small (net weight of 4g) and portable that it can be tucked into my pocket or bag, making it perfectly accessible when I am doing my shopping or watching a movie. I always keeping tubes all over my house and office, it is another good way to remind me to get my lips protected.

This natural lip gloss comes in a convenient twist up tube packaging which is hygienic to use. It really moisturizes even though I don’t really like the coconut cream flavor. It went on smoothly though a little thicker in texture than expected.  The scent of the Lip Gloss In Julius’ Coconut Cream is rather strong, but after putting it on my lips, it actually smelled more pleasant but not overpowering.

It turned my dry chapped lipped into soft ones within 2 days of use. It feels nice going on and keeps my lips well moisturized, super-smooth and supple for hours. I reapply it after lunch and whenever the effect eventually wears off, which is usually after I eat or drink.

These little lip gloss is available in Guardian Pharmacy, Jusco Wellness, Parkson, SSa and Watson’s Personal Care Store at an attractive price of RM 12.90. Some of you will no doubt be using and loving it already - but it was brand new to me. Now, I can't wait to try other flavors of Lipsmackers!

Review : Rimmel Extra Super Lash Waterproof Mascara

Mascara is always on every girl wish list as it highlights our eye lashes. I personally don't really wear too much of makeup on a normal day, maybe with just an eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss will do.

The Rimmel Extra Super Lash Waterproof Mascara comes in a simple black plastic tube with a straight brush. But the brush isn’t that great as it is too big for my lashes.  It does not leave a dramatic look in the first coat of application itself, thus I apply a couple coats to give me a little darker, slightly more defined and lengthened lashes, but unfortunately it ends up leaving my eyelashes clumped.

Before Application

After Application

So, I tend to apply only one coat of the mascara with just a natural look eyelash. My lashes looked completely average except for being darker. So far, it never flaked or smudged on me and it is waterproof that lasted me the whole day. However, I find it is so difficult to remove even with the eye makeup remover. I seem to lose a couple of eyelashes every time I removing it.

Naturally Abundant Looking Eyelashes

Generally, the mascara isn't that bad. It is inexpensive mascara for those who want natural looking lashes. You can always buy Rimmel London products at your nearest Watson’s, Guardian, Parkson & AEON Wellness for RM27.90.

Review : Organic Aid Vitamin E Moisturizing Cream

Have you’ll ever come across a skincare products by Organic Aid®? I know some of you may try them out before. Well, I’ve wanting to try it out for ages, but I hesitant to pull the trigger on it. Trust me, if you never try, you'll never know.

Organic Aid® is one such brand that gives the best natural protection your skin deserves. If your skin feels dehydrated, and you wonder why fine lines start showing on your face. It’s time for you to discover the amazing wonders of ‘Wheat Germ’. You might ask: What is ‘Wheat Germ’? It is actually one of the nature’s richest sources of pure Vitamin E, fully organic, and can be found in all Organic Aid® range. Does that sound interesting to you?

I am terribly excited to try the Organic Aid Vitamin E Moisturizing Cream. It’s really quite amazing to find that it actually do what the product claims “Non-Sticky, Non-Greasy”. In fact I love the gel-cream texture, plus non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic. I have tried this product close to two weeks now and I must say I am totally convinced.

The cream is very gentle and yet very effective. It is specially formulated with Vitamin E to moisturize, soothe and heal over-dry or rough skin, leaving my skin soft and refreshed. It absorbs immediately and leaving my skin with a velvety feel.

This product is definitely worth the money and I will be purchasing more! You can find it in most of the pharmacies and it's normally selling at RM14.90.

Happy trying!
