Sakae Sushi Launches Malaysia's 1st iPad Ordering System

The mascot for Sakae Sushi

Today iPad is clearly leading the tablet market. Sakae Sushi Malaysia unveiled its latest innovation – launches the 1st of its kind to use the iPad interactive menu in efforts to further improve its customer service experience, as it is able to handle complex orders quickly, efficiently and accurately.

We are lucky enough to be invited to venture into a whole new level of Japanese dining experience right after the SHILLS Meet BeautyBloggers Event at Berjaya Times Square KL. This new system is currently also available at Sakae Sushi at the Curve and Sunway Pyramid, with more outlets to follow
.

New iPad Interactive Menu

The iPads are displayed on every table on a metal holder, allowing us to place an order by just touching the screen and choosing our desired food and beverages.

Introduction to iPad Ordering System

The iPads are designed to resemble an actual menu which we can browse through, zoom in and out or pinch to enlarge the item. We will be prompted to a screen display listing down our order, where we are able to make any changes, confirm and sent our orders directly to the kitchen. For added convenience, the device will further list out and separate order items that have arrived or are being prepared. This enables us to effortlessly keep track and manage our orders in one easy-to-navigate screen. In addition, we can tract down our favorite menu items with a ‘search’ function.

Immediately after having fun with the iPad ordering system, all the beauty bloggers get to enjoy the ever delightful tea time with some of the signature dishes at Sakae Sushi. I simply love it.

Sakae Candle

It is one of Sakae’s signature dishes which is made of avocado, Japanese cucumber, crab meat, shrimp roe, codfish roe and mayonnaise and shaped with a slice of salmon to look like a candle, as the name suggests. But too bad, the candle was not lighted.

Sakae Chawanmushi (RM 4.50)

It is one of Sakae Sushi’s top selling dishes comprises a mixture of crab, vegetables, mushroom and sharks fin. I am not really a big fan of Chawanmushi but it taste so yummylicious!

Chicken Teriyaki Don (RM 7.90)

The chicken pieces portion was very generous and it taste heavenly with the sweetish teriyaki sauce! Obviously all dishes are marvelous! Thumbs up to Sakae Sushi!

SPOTTED! Benefit San Francisco @ Sunway Pyramid

Are you a fan of Benefit Cosmetics? If you are into this brand, the good newsand it is largely good news… is that Benefit Cosmetics finally makes its way to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall.

This morning, while pimping for breakfast around the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, I spotted a new Benefit Cosmetics Kiosk and it expected to open for business on November 2010.

The kiosk is very strategically located at the Level G, where there is high human traffic. If you are enter from the main entrance of Sunway Pyramid, Starbucks Coffee will be on your left and soon you will see the new Benefit Cosmetics Kiosk directly ahead. It is just a few seconds away.

Happy shopping again!

Empire Shopping Gallery @ Subang

WORK, LIVE, DINE and SHOP UNDER ONE ROOF!

The Empire Subang is actually a unique “4 in 1” development concept located just next to Subang Parade. It comprises Empire Suites (hotel suites), Empire SOHO (small office home office), Empire Tower (office suite) and Empire Shopping Gallery (retail mall).

Well, Empire Shopping Gallery finally opens its doors to shopaholics like us. I was so excited about the 5-storey shopping gallery until I went there yesterday. Its house lots of branded shops such as Tangs, Guess, Levis, Selberan, Kiehl’s, Shu Uemura, The Face Shop, Popular, Sasa, Pumpkin Patch, Poney, 128 Faubourg, Crocs, La Senza, Dorothy Perkins & and many more.

There have a huge selection of F&B choices too, such as Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Italiannies, Chili’s Grill & Bar, Madam Kwan, Rakuzen, Pasta Zanmai, Kenny Rogers Roasters & etc. Now, I don’t have to travel all the way to Kuala Lumpur for branded stuff or a dinner at Rakuzen.

This place is pleasantly spacious, bright and there are many brands/shops not found in Subang Parade. Therefore, I can say that the Empire Shopping Gallery will garner its own crowds in the near future.

I was also invited to visits the Empire Hotel just above the Empire Shopping Gallery. Its offers well-appointed accommodation units, conference rooms, ballroom, and lounge, which comes in a very unique design.

I totally fall in love with the hotel ballroom; it’s really an excellent venue for holding a “special occasion” like wedding, company dinner or birthday celebration.

For those who intend to visits Empire Shopping Gallery on this coming weekend, please do not put too high expectation as some of the shops are still under renovation. I would suggest you to come on middle/end of May 2010.

My New Year's Resolution

New Year's Eve has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It's a time to reflect on the changes we want (or need) to make and resolve to follow through on those changes.

Do you have a New Years Resolution for 2010? To quit smoking? To stop drinking? To go on a diet? Have you ever had a New Years Resolution? If so, did you stick to it? Do you know somebody who needs to make a resolution? Do you think resolutions are made only to be broken? So, put it out here and tell us, What's Your New Years Resolution?

My New Years Resolution
1. Spend more time with family & friends
2. To be happy with my life, and to take better care of myself
3. A trip to UK on September 2010
4. To enjoy my son & daughter (due on March 8, 2010) as much as possible
5. Get organized (Home, Office & Life)
6. Earn more money
7. Eat more healthy foods
8. Spend more wisely

I am so curious if you guys have any healthy resolutions for 2010, so speak up and share them with me. No resolution is too big or too small to share. I want to hear them all.
