The Launch Of Shizens Time Resistance Essence + Review + Giveaway ~ Just JuLi

Shizens, as a brand that understands the importance of maintaining beauty, especially for a woman, Shizens is proud to introduce the all-new Time Resistance Essence, a firming skincare product that helps women to realize their dreams of keeping skin firm and supple throughout the day while performing their daily tasks. The launch of Shizens Time Resistance Essence was held at KLGCC one and a half month ago.

To my surprise, the event celebrated the launch of Shizens Time Resistance Essence with an awesome dance performance. That was totally cool!

I’ve been lucky enough to receive a set of 5 Shizens skincare products to try out, which includes Hydro Cleanser, Hydro Enhancing Lotion, SHUĬ, Time Resistance Essence and Replenish Nutrient Expert. Each of the products is formulated using different botanical extracts that bring diverse yet harmonized functions to my skin.

My current skincare routine - Shizens

Shizens Hydro Cleanser (NP : RM158 / 100ml)

Hydro Cleanser is a daily gel cleanser that able to remove dirt and impurities without stripping your skin moisture. It contains Aloe Barbadensis leaf extracts which is antimicrobial, antioxidant and able to moisturize dehydrated skin. Instead, it helps to increase the moisture level of horned layer to make your skin look hydrated, healthy and radiant. It is gentle, non-irritant and suitable for most skin types. Moisture level of a dehydrated skin may increase up to 70% after a continuous use for one week, on day and night time.

This cleanser had a lovely natural fragrance scent and I love it so much. I particularly like the crystal-clear gel type texture that contains microfine shimmer and beads, it's just perfect for my combination skin especially in this hot and humid country. I found this cleanser to be very gentle on my skin and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and soothed.

Hydro Enhancing Lotion (NP : RM188 / 100ml)

While cleaning our face, most of us use tap water which contains chloride and other impurities invisible to human eyes. Hydro Enhancing Lotion serves as a second cleanser to further cleanse your face for better absorption of the following products. It contains licorice root (Glycyrrhiza Glabra) extracts to repair skin cells for deceleration of skin aging. Hydro Enhancing Lotion also contains witch hazel extracts which is antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

This lotion had a lovely natural fragrance scent just like the cleanser. It is powerful enough to remove every last trace of the cleanser and dirt that may be left on my skin. Personally though, I love the deep refreshing clean feeling it leaves behind without tightness.

Both the cleanser and lotion comes with a sturdy gold pump dispenser with a crystal white pull off lid, which makes it really handy and practical in terms of packaging.

SHUI (NP : RM228 / 50ml & RM588 / 180ml)

SHUI is a watery aqua-base product is a pure and natural way to detoxify negative substances and replenish nutrients for healthier, supple and luminous skin. Various botanical extracts are included to develop the formulation to its best, after extensive research. The essence is also enriched with the Ganoderma Lucidumextract from a type of mushroom known as ‘Reishi’ or ‘Ling Zhi’. It helps to enhance the immune system of skin and delays aging. The extract is also known as the “Medicine of Eternal Life” and is capable to inhibit the formation and deposition of melanin and irritations in skin.

Other ingredients in SHUĬ include the Patchouli extract and Corallina Officinalis extract. These botanical extracts stimulate regeneration of skin cells and improve intercellular adhesion, contributing to improve skin elasticity. The high content of trace elements and mineral salts in the extracts nourish and revitalise the skin, ensuring there is sufficient moisture within. The Ginkgo Biloba Leaf extract and Kalanchoe Spathulata extract provide maximum anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory protection. SHUĬ is also formulated with Centella Asiatica extract and Root extract that helps decelerate the skin aging process.

I was extremely surprised by the amazing scent of SHUĬ and it gives me a refreshing moisture boost right after the application. I can see it clarify and plump up my complexion, and my skin felt even softer and smoother than before!

SHUĬ comes with a solid crystal clear screw cap, which I don’t particularly like because it’s harder to control the amount of product I gonna use at a time.

*NEW* Time Resistance Essence (NP : RM618 / 30ml)

Specifically formulated with Ceramide, a natural lipid that is essential in protecting and moisturizing the skin, Time Resistance Essence is designed to counter harmful factors and decelerate skin aging. It reinforces and supports the renewal of the skin’s natural protective layer and forms an effective barrier against moisture loss by restoring Ceramides level in skin. By plumping up the barrier, Time Resistance Essence ensures your skin retains more moisture, thus making it firmer and healthier.

Time Resistance Essence focuses on nourishing, firming, moisturizing and brightening the skin. This acts as a confidence booster for women, allowing them to perform their daily tasks with ease by showcasing their inner and outer beauty at the same time, a key combination that exhibits the true attractiveness of a woman.

[Nourishing] Time Resistance Essence nourishes skin with precisely selected ingredients such as Ceramide (plant-derived lipids), Kalanchoe Spathulata extract, Sodium Hyaluronate and others that synergize perfectly with each other to hold skin cells together and rebuild the skin barrier, while hindering the grow of harmful free radicals to decelerate skin aging.

[Firming] Time Resistance Essence strengthens existing Ceramides levels and stimulates regeneration for firmer and smoother skin. It helps to maintain high levels of Ceramides in the stratum corneum, thus restoring the barrier function that protects the skin from external harmful agents such as environmental pollution, UV rays, dust and others.

[Moisturizing] With the presence of Sodium Hyaluronate, Time Resistance Essence is able to boost up the water levels in the skin, ensuring it stays moist and hydrated all day long.

[Brightening] Ceramide plays an important role in Time Resistance Essence. It seals the damaged skin barrier in order to hold sufficient moisture level in skin. Time Resistance Essence boost up the moisture level in skin, thus the brightening effect take place.

This serum has the same amazing scent with the SHUĬ. The ultra-light milky texture spreads very easily and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving my skin feeling refreshed, smooth, supple, radiant and hydrated. Although I haven't noticed a huge difference in my skin but it definitely improves my skins texture, fine lines and firmness.

The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper style dispenser which I have a love / hate relationship with. The dropper is ideal for dispensing just the right amount of product I need, but it is virtually useless when the products are running low.

Replenish Nutrient Expert (NP : RM148 / 10g & RM380 / 30g)

Replenish Nutrient Expert is enriched with powerful humectants that attracts and hold on to water,instantly hydrates skin and keep it moist and supple. The tiny molecule of Replenish Nutrient Expert able to penetrate into deeper layers, skin tested to be 50% more hydrated after application and that subsequently reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also aids in balancing the ratio of moisture and oil level of our skin to achieve smooth and luminous complexion.

Various botanical extracts were used in the formulation of Replenish Nutrient Expert. These botanical extracts synergize perfectly with each other to deliver the best result to our skin. Replenish Nutrient Expert stimulates the collagen production and restores elasticity of skin. Furthers the effect, it repairs the damaged collagen fibers and neutralizes free radicals caused by environmental factors. Replenish Nutrient Expert is also a potent anti- oxidant formula that acts against skin premature aging by stimulating skin cells activity as active skin cells eliminate toxins easily and optimize nutrients absorption.

Valuable marine extract was chosen to develop the formulation to its best. It boosts skin regeneration and improves intercellular adhesion to restore skin elasticity at the same time helps to strengthen the skin and keep moisture where it’s most needed. It soothes, tones and prevents skin from dryness and ensures sufficient moisture within.

Replenish Nutrient Expert works synergistically together with SHUĬ, the perfect essence to detoxify negative substances as well as strengthen skin immune system. SHUĬ motivates the absorption of Replenish Nutrient Expert that supplies sufficient nutrients to our skin. Visible changes can be seen with combination usage of SHUĬ and Replenish Nutrient Expert. Skin looks healthy and luminous after few days of continuous use.

This expert moisturizer has a light, non-greasy and yogurt looks a-like texture that allows deeper absorption into the granular layer of skin to moisturize as well as prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. But.. The scent is a bit too sweet for my liking. My skin feels supple from within after application.

Well, after 1 months of faithful usage of the Shizens skincare product, I noticed that my skin definitely feels smoother, softer and more youthful. I was so impressed with the visible firmness and improvement on my skin texture. I really love the way it makes my skin feel and I just want to keep touching it.
